The Man Cave is participant-led and built by men, for men, designed around what actually matters to you. No boring worksheets or quiet rooms. From a jam on the guitar to a build in the workshop, it is a space where the men set the tone and there is always a good crew to share it with.
Having spent years in the support work space, we kept seeing the same gap. There was very little out there built for men. We wanted to create a space that men would truly use and love, not just turn up to.
The frustration was real. So many of the activities we could offer the men we supported cost money they simply did not have. We were left leaning on council events, which are wonderful, but the options got repetitive and engagement slipped away.
So we built our own. That is how The Man Cave was born, a place where the men set the tone, the activities are theirs, and cost is never the thing that keeps someone from belonging.
From a fresh cut to a proper coffee, a weekly BBQ to the decks, plus boxing, gaming and regular outings, here is a taste of what the lads get into. Photos to come as we capture more of the action.
